Benicarló An Evening of Themes of Art Songs
At 7:30 pm on October 13th (Saturday), The Chinese and Foreign Art Song Night Charity Concert hosted by the Chinese-American Family Coalition (CAFC) will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Welcoming music lovers and music producers! Any donation is appreciated. Your tax-deductible contribution will help to support China Cultural Education Fund.
From Meng Haoran to Foley, Huang Zi to Bellini, Chinese ancient poetry to French toon. The concert will present a high-level professional art song concert. Blending the elegance of Chinese ancient poetry; the romance of German and French art songs; the truth of American art songs; the atmosphere of Italian art songs.
The evening guest singer has a soprano singer, Ms. Zhang Zhi. She graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and New York University with a master’s degree in singing and a diploma in advanced teaching. She will sing professional classical concerts with violinist Zhang Kegong and the University of Cincinnati Dr. Wang Xian. There are chorus groups coming to perform also. Classical singing, modern interpretation.
CAFC is a registered non-profit organization with Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We serve over 1,000 members of the Greater New York / New Jersey area. Our headquarters is in Englewood Cliffs NJ. The agency is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, serving the general public. We also host and participate in cultural events.
