Artist requirements for Chinese-American Youth Art Works

 

The Chinese-American Family Coalition (CAFC)and ASA College Culture &Art Center will hold a Chinese-American Youth Art Exhibition & Charity Sale on July 6, 2022 (Wednesday) to raise funds for Andy Yu, a 13-year-old muscular dystrophy patient in New York, to help him pay for part of his treatment and living expenses.

Artworks will be collected until July 3 (Sunday). 

Specific requirements are as follows:

1. Age: All ages 

2. Form of work: Any traditional mediums (oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, acrylic painting, printmaking, drawing, calligraphy, photography, pottery, sculpture, etc). 

3. Number of works: Up to 3 pieces per artist. 

  1. Framing and Format: Must be in a frame with the name of the work, artist’s name, and the creation time in the lower right corner. 
  2. Artwork Donation: one of them will be donated to CAFC and all the proceeds from the charity sale belonged to the organizer the other two were used for the on-site charity sale, half of the donation money will be donated to the patient, and the other half of the donation will be given to the artist. If any artworks are not sold the artist have the option to them back away or keep them for the next Art Center charity sale.
  3. Date and Location: Any artwork will be send to ASA College Manhattan campus (7th floor room 710-711)
