This course is designed to support high school student writers by allowing them to avoid or correct the most common types of usage errors. It is more than simply a descriptive grammar. Rather, it achieves its intended purpose by providing an abundance of exercises by means of which students can build mastery and confidence.
SAT-style exercises are used to assist in preparing for the writing section of the exam that covers paragraph revision, error identification and sentence revision.
