About CAFC

The Chinese-American Family Coalition (CAFC) is a non-for-profit organization registered under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The agency is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes serving the general public, as well as cultural festivals and activities. In 2006, lead by Ms. Angie Ngai, a small group of Chinese-Americans established an educational and recreational program named The Chinese Cultural Club at the Fort Lee Community Center. The program served at least 400 Chinese-Americans in the Fort Lee area. In December 2006, in order to extend the program, enhance their services and obtain support from the New Jersey government, the group members decide to form a non-for-profit organization and officially named the organization the “Chinese-American Family Coalition” in March 2007.
